Still haven't lost those day in history lists, huh?:wink2:

Well, sir, I'd be glad to raise a glass with you. Stout alright?:drinkbeer

Stout? Of course! Imperial Russian by choice.

Or, if you want something a little lighter how about Gulden Drak or Chimay Grand Cru?

For more beer-related fun here's a series of Flash games from the Stella Artois company about the hazards of brewing beer in 1366 when they started business.

Anyone try any of the seasonal beers yet this year? So far I've only tried the Pete's Wicked "Wanderlust" cream ale. Pretty good, but less than I expected from Pete's Wicked.

I had an EXCELLENT vintage 2007 Miller Light the other day. WOW, very good.

:)

Actually, there's a local microbrewery in Columbus that Exile introduced me to, the IPA there is INCREDIBLE.

A couple years ago I was in Fond Du Lac and had a drink in one of the bars that Carry Nation took a hatchet to in 1902 or so.

LOL! about the Miller Light.

My favorite IPA now is at this little place near Grand Rapids: http://www.hideoutbrewing.com/

I'm starting to get a little thristy.

As if I needed a reason to raise a glass :D.

Tonight we're a bit low-brow with a 2007 (oh the shame) Hardy's Arrival Chenin Blanc Smillon. It's actually very nice ... honest .

Ironic though that I've never had a drop of alcohol in my life... :ubercool:
