It real. It's designed to not violate NY's inane "assault weapons ban".

I'd like to shoot one that angle on the non-pistol grip seems kinda harsh and uncomfortable

I don't know -- I think it looks pretty much like a fairly standard rifle/shotgun grip angle.

Yeah once I zoomed in. The black on black on my cell phone all I saw the the part in the light made it look like a sharp angle
