Hi MT peeps. I'm trying get connected with people in the Portland, OR area who want to train kali/stickfighting, as I'm looking to get a group together. Please reply to this post or message my account if interested.
Also, in the interest of generating a useful thread, if anyone has any leads on places around Portland that do stickfighting exclusively, I'd love to know. I've checked out some of the local dojos, but as far as I can tell there aren't any groups that do stickfighting as their focus; my impression is it's more of an add-on to other martial systems with most of them.
So - hope to get some responses. <please excuse the multiple postings as I also posted on the 'events' forum.>
