January 13 1st tournament

Well this saturday is the first tournament and it is a Karate base full contact sparring tournament, thought this would help my fighters get there juicey going again. It will be a midium size at the College probaly about two hundred people. I'll let you know how it goes afterwards.

I think that is Cliff Dillehay's Tournament at UT-Arlington. They follow the AOK rules if I remember correctly. It's not full contact, but point sparring.

Yes I know it is point sparring with face shots at the BB Level and growing kick are allowed as well. Yes it is Dillehay's tournament and it is at UTA. Remember for alot of my students that does only Olympic style thid is full contact for them.

Well we had a great opening to the new Year, first off my young Lady that is 14 win two medals in sparring, my other teenager was a 1at and second, TXBB rwo buys did there first point sparring and had a great time winning thrid in fighting, they have akways just done Olympic so I'm very proud of them, my three did as always winning 1st and second in fighting and Kata so all in all a great day/ Talk to you all later
