Without a guide, it is like swimming in the dark.

If—

by Rudyard Kipling

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or, being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise;
If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with wornout tools;
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: ā€œHold onā€;
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings—nor lose the common touch;
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run—
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

Keeping your hand a right wall and following it until out only works if all wall are connected. In the AI solution with island wall just go in circles.

If my aunt….she’d be my uncle.

I am not into much poetry, but this is one of my Favorites.

If a woodchuck COULD chuck wood, would a woodchuck chuck wood?
The ones we have would not. Called a groundhog here, they are serious ground burrowers. Not nearly as bad as they once were since we started seeing Armadillo's (not certain why), but they can really cause devastation.

Thankfully, this just turned out to be a 'funny story'. We had developed a big den of them in one area counting at least eight entries into the den. Per our Ag extension, we planned to burn them out (had done this several times before). Plugged all the lower entrance points and started pouring in diesel. What I did not know is that the farmhand helping me had mixed the 55 gallon drum with 25% gasoline.
Thankfully, we made a fuse stream about 50' away. All I can say is you had to be there to see the explosion. Knocked us both on our ****, and covered us in dirt and groundhog guts. I am guessing there were 20 or more groundhogs in there.

If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine
And my tunes were played on the harp unstrung
Would you hear my voice come through the music?
Would you hold it near, as it were your own?

It’s a hand me down, the thoughts are broken
Perhaps they are better left unsung
I don’t know, don’t really care
Let there be songs to fill the air

Ripple in still water
Where there is no pebble tossed
Not wind to blow

Reach out your hand, if your cup be empty
If your cup is full, may it be again
Let it be known, there is a fountain
That was not made by the hands of men

There is a road, no simple highway
Between the dawn and the dark of night
And if you go, no one may follow
That path is for your steps alone

Ripple in still water
Where there is no pebble tossed
Nor wind to blow

You who choose to lead must follow
But if you fall, you fall alone
If you should stand, then who is to guide you?
If I knew the way, I would lead you home.

If Peter Piper had a penchant for perverted acts including pickled peppers, in what part of peter piper was the peck of pickled peppers put?

if your ready then your ready if not you still have long ways to go but you will get there in time

If ya don`t know where ya going,
OK…
just keep going you will get there someday.
What if it’s not where you want or need to go and it’s taken you a lifetime to get there? 😳

Research and find out a suitable destination. Work really hard but efficiently to arrive at the researched destination being well aware that you may not succeed in getting there and then invoke tired, well-worn platitudes as ā€˜it’s about the journey not the destination’ or ā€˜it’s not the journey, it’s the person you’ve become on the way.’

There, I’ve fixed it.
