It struck me that we really could do with more such stories being brought to light much more often for, following the mantra that "bad news sells", we are all being propagandised into thinking our societies are coming apart at the seams. I confess that I have certainly been guilty of such thoughts in recent years as the diet of crime, war and disaster the news media fed me coloured my view of the world to the extent that I was convinced we were at the 'end of days' for humanity as a successful species.
