Good drill for both the puncher and the person doing shoots and take downs. We have that person in a squat position when not attempting the takedowns. Really gives them a leg workout having to stay low and moving as the pad holder moves around.It needs three people. One holds the pads the other crouches down.
You hit the pads as hard as you can and randomly the other guy tries to take you down. You either defend or fall over. A three minute round is quite the test.
