What's this in reference to?

It sounds like a reference to the relative merit of practicing forms in general as a part of an overall martial arts diet, so to speak. If so, it sounds about right to me.

hey gang

for me the forms are the "essence" of the art that i need to feel complete.

i love the drills and the sparring but it is whilst i am focused on my personal develpoment as i do my form that i "get" it!

this is where i depend on "me" where i find myself within WC.
the constant relaxing tensing and control is my meditation for want of a better description.

i understand the buzz that most get from the drills and sparring as do i and how that could lead a to a mini exodus to mma but if i did that i would lose my way very quickly.

Oh, I just didn't see its point cause it didn't relate to the topic and kinda came outta right field is all.
