I too miss his thoughts and eloquent explanations. He has interesting views on combat effective taekwondo. He had a calming effect on this board as a moderator, too.

I sent him a PM not long ago, but haven't had a reply. I think he was one of the most thoughtful posters on the forum here. I'd like to see him hang out here a bit again.

I believe that both of the recent departed gentlemen - exile and arnisador - were professors. That's what my wife is as well, and I have seen how work demands can vary greatly from semester to semester. Then there's family to consider...

One can only wish them well. Somewheres, they are contributing something worthwhile.
