Word on the gun boards is that he's in hospice care now, after having gone through another heart attack.

Even though I disagree with him on many a non-1911 topic, I still have the utmost of respect for him, having met him in person, when our local gun club (back when I lived in South Carolina) had him there as an honored guest.

I met back in the 80's.

Hard to think of him, such a larger than life character, in poor health.
