I joined when I was in my 40s, now in my 60s, so I hear you on that. These days it is mostly just for killing time in the office as I head for retirement.

Glad the glaucoma is under control. Due to all my eye surgeries, cataracts and 2 for detached retina in one eye, I to need drops every day, and plugs in tear ducts, otherwise get so darn dry

After cataract surgery I was amazed at how bright, shiny and clear things were. And, at least for me, the surgery was one of the easiest I have had, like I said, basically it was a nice nap

I didn't have time for a nap, it was all over in a few minutes. All I saw was disco lights for a little bit then it was done. The worst bit was the green material they stick to your face, hides the other eye and supposed to catch the water they use (it ran in my ear ) it was like having sticking plaster ripped off . Apart from the really good sight the other good bit was it's free. Only waited a fortnight for op as well. Check up next week then wait for other eye to be done, I do hope the good looking Italian doctor does it again
