I think it was a bit tacky that Betty Ting Pei attended, but maybe that is me.

No, that Ting Pei attended was tacky...but in our (American) eyes though it seems.
I just can't imagine a theme park based on a singular person (Dollywood not-withstanding)... I mean... gee... I dunno guess I'd have to see it to believe it and experience it to get a better feel for it. Could be dumb or it could be pretty cool. Depends upon the designers.

I understand your feeling there, but I think she had a right to attend, and, considering her effect and influence on the life of Bruce Lee, it was not entirely out of place. Still, if Linda Lee was there, it must have been uncomfortable.
