AAU results?

So how did it go for those of you who attended? As far as I know we brought home 2 medals, a gold for Parker in 14-17 Black belt, and a bronze for Cody.

Well we did a great job with seven total medals

1- Gold
2 - Silvers
4 - Bronze

Not bad for a week of great compitition.

My kids attend Woosop TKD in Fenton MO, we had 2 gold medalists (1 adult and 1 14-17 Male BB - brothers) and 1 bronze medalist (14-17 Female BB).

This was my first AAU Nationals... we went down with about 20 families; we did pretty good medal wise and we all had a blast.

I had a great time competing in the forms and point sparring - although I would have rather won/ lost the gold for point sparring on fighting skills rather then getting the gold when my opponent was DQed for a back spin kick to the face (face shots are not permitted in point sparring).

TKD_Jen, I wanted to try and get together but the time FLEW by and trying to get 20 families together for dinner after the competition was over for each day was like herding cats.
