Tournament Day Schedule
08:00 am -- Tournament check-in opens
09:30 am -- Opening ceremonies
10:00 am -- Tournament check-in closes
10:00 am -- Pattern competition begins
12:00 p.m. -- Demonstration competition begins
01:00 p.m. -- Sparring competition begins
02:00 p.m. -- Breaking competition begins
05:00 p.m. -- Texas Grand Championship awards and closing ceremonies

Rules and Regulations
Patterns: ITF Patterns only
Sparring: continuous sparring as per ITF Rules and Regulations (headgear
mandatory for color belts!) Single elimination, one-two minute round for preliminaries, two-two minute rounds for black belt finals.
Demonstration competition: described below
Breaking: One hand power and one foot power combined total score, and specialty
breaking will be a combination of high kick and flying side kick. Final Rules to be determined on day of tournament
Breaking materials will be placed in a board holder. Breaking materials will be red colored PRO-FORCE re-breakable boards.
Red Belt and Above Competitors Only!


Demonstration Competition
Each team can consist of 3 to 6 people. The demonstration can be of any physical
aspect of Taekwon-Do such as patterns, model sparring, team breaking, Ho Sin Sul
routine, etc., as long as each team member is an integral part of the team (i.e.
not just holding boards for other team members). Each routine will be no more
than 2 minutes. Please contact the Tournament Director if planning on performing
anything besides a team pattern.

Miscellaneous
Tournament T-shirts can be pre-ordered with the tournament application and
picked up on the day of the tournament. Just add $15 per T-shirt and indicate
the number and sizes of the T-shirts on the check or on an attached piece of
paper. S,M,L,XL
The location of dinner after the tournament will be announced the day of the
event. Please bring an extra $10 - $15 per person if you plan to attend.

NEW VENUE!
Unfortunately we were unable to obtain Gregory Gymnasium for our tournament this year. We will be holding the event in ANNA HISS Gymnasium, Room #133.
See following page for map. Dean Keaton Street is also called 26th street when arriving from I-35.
Public Parking should be available at Parking Garage 4 (PG4) as illustrated on map.
