While I am not condoning illegal immigration, this story does highlight how desperate some people are to enter the US. There were people in those trucks from as far away as India and China. Far too many of us take for granted what these people were willin to go through hell to try and get.

I am taking it that the 'bus' ticket was 7k, I think the prices can be much higher for the trip...including all the incidentals aside from transportation....
(No telling how many do not make the trip and end up as bleaching bones in the desert...)
