So I saw today on Swedish state media news channel about that amazing CMA robot performance , they had an “expert” on telling that it was not at all amazing, cause it’s just preprogrammed movement pattern and for robots such are the easiest thing, let them do “spontaneous but correct stuff and their moves comes awkward and even clumsy…

Sounded like the usual jargon against CMA that’s focused on forms practice

My WIng Chun Shifu was impressed by it and a friend of mine who studied Wushu and Sanda in China, trained JKD, has a Black Belt in BJJ, and a brown in Kyokushin Karate and runs his own school, was impressed and saw a potential for a future sparing partner... darn crazy Kyokushin guys :D

And yes they are preprogrammed, but the advancement in robotics, it is darn impressive. give them time and they may be independent...and that is when it gets scary
