The open is one of the best tourneys in the us. many top level fighters from all over will be there.

Puunui...spoke with Jared McKee...he is one of the boys from Hawaii...he is fighting at fly...he is always fun to watch...nice kid always says Hi...saw him fight Gus Villa in Spain what a fight...he punches so hard it scares people in the lower weight divisions

Puunui...spoke with Jared McKee...he is one of the boys from Hawaii...he is fighting at fly...he is always fun to watch...nice kid always says Hi...saw him fight Gus Villa in Spain what a fight...he punches so hard it scares people in the lower weight divisions

I try to encourage him to cut to fin, so he can continue hawaii's longstanding domination of the male finweight team spot. But it's too much for him. Fly is better preparation for the olympic weights though, so there is that.

Jr fin under 45...beat Puerto Rico 8-0. Beat Mexico 8-1 lost 3-2 on a last second head shot(crescent kick). it was heart breaking. He learned allot got two strong international fights. Beat a national team member and the b team from Mexico. He learned allot and came away with confidence. This sets him up for a strong year. He will get to train another week with the Morrocan Team lots of good things going on right now.

Jared is much better at Fin but that is tough weight for a grown man to make. He fought at fin in Spain.

Had a great warm up session tonight wih cory and allen & the MDK group. Cory is fighting lightweight tomorrow w/76 in his division. Allen(12-13 bantam) and francis (12-13 fin-tkdi-hyon couldn't come) fight on Friday.

Kymberly has her high school soccer playl offs on Thursday so she wonT be able to fight...if it had been on the weekend no problem but Thursday is a problem. She is the center mid and the captain of the team so she has to play
