This year the IRS is letting each and every one of us file our taxes electronically free of charge. Didn't the IRS already let all of us eFile our taxes for free, you ask? I picked up Tax Cut Standard at Dollar Tree for. . . . . . . .$1. It came with a free federal e-file.

I've been e-filing for years, have never paid for it.

No, I just actually read those documents they send out. Kinda like a manual (*hint*) someone's got to read em. :D

I've been doing my own taxes since I first had to do them. I stopped in 2001 when I incorporated. (Schedule K confuddled me) But I did them by hand, then when I started my various businesses I used TaxCut and TurboTax. I used their built in features to efile, and now my accountant efiles everything for me.
