I picked up Tax Cut Standard at Dollar Tree for. . . . . . . .$1. It came with a free federal e-file.

I've been e-filing for years, have never paid for it.

No, I just actually read those documents they send out. Kinda like a manual (*hint*) someone's got to read em.

I've been doing my own taxes since I first had to do them. I stopped in 2001 when I incorporated. (Schedule K confuddled me) But I did them by hand, then when I started my various businesses I used TaxCut and TurboTax. I used their built in features to efile, and now my accountant efiles everything for me.
