Tornado kick

Is this what most of you refer to as a Tornado kick?


I normally refer to this kick as a narambam kick.

i mcall that a 260 roundkick but meh lol. It was good and all, but he hesitated, so he let the other fighter know he was comming, why did he just stand there and take it lol.

Great vid! I guess the guy was in shock, or something. I hate doing that kick! I can't quite coordinate my legs when I do it at the jump.

Great vid!!
Tornado is my favorite kick.
It is a slow kick and hard to score with but when u connect.......well from the video u can see what can happen when u connect.

We call this a narabon kick.

For beginners, we teach it with a step (i.e. the kicking leg steps forward, the back leg almost moves like a back kick is going to be launched, and then you spin through and kick). Once folks get the hang of doing it with the step, we take away the step.

The kids all seem to love this kick.
