I guess I'm glad now I paid the bill rather than have the fees deducted!

With regard to eFile... I think that for at least some taxpayers, there is a free way to do it. But you don't get the error checking and other "services" of the commercial software.

I saw this article today. This seems to imply that you receive your check according to the last two digits of your SSN.

If true, that really sucks! I fall in the last category!
