After doing some research, I've come up with this (extremely unfinished and badly formatted) lineage chart that I intend to be at least somewhat academic and factual and hopefully free of legend-based ideas. Once again, it's extremely incomplete, so if there's people you don't see on there that should be, that's why.

I am not sure why you want to do this but Xu Shen's suggestion is good.

Lineage traditionally has meaning- but these days people who take a few lessons
list themselves as being in a lineage- unfortunately.

Sad...but true. A few lessons and/or a seminar or two and they are off and running to the next block / street corner to open their own kwoon...

Sadly true and it happens in Taiji all the time too.
