I've tried a number of different sights and always come back to the old notch and post. I used to run a fiber optic front but have gone back to a standard black sight with a small dot of dayglo piant. The fiber optic was so bright I wasn't seeing a crisp edge on the front sight. I also prefer my rear notch blacked out (no dots or bars). For night I go with truglow green in the front and a more subdued orange or no illumination on the back.

What setup works for you?

Notch and post as well. I tried a ghost ring on my G 17 for a while, but took it off after about a week.

I prefer just an iluminated front site with tritium as well.

I have been thinking of trying the Big Dot Express sights.

notch and post right now. I like a little more of an "air-gap" in my sight picture so sometimes I have to open up the rear sight just a hair. I also paint my front sights with dayglow orange (orange works for me). I'm also thinking about a set of the XS big dots though I don't know how I feel about the shallow V rear-sight. Guess I'll just see how they work.
