The counter-culture author Hunter Thompson, who popularized a new form of personalized journalism, has died at 67 in what investigators believe to be a suicide.

-As a fan of the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, I'm sadden to hear of his death. I wonder why the suicide...just seems like too much effort if you ask me. I imagine he did have his reasons, but still.
