After hearing a Local Spokane Washington DJ miss-pronunce "D'yer Mak'er" and having no way to call the Station to *****. I thought I would go international and Make a Martial Talk member rule. From here on out you shall all pronounce that song title "JAMAICA". Thank you.

ahhhh...Jamaica!

I've always pronounced it Jer Mayker, except when I was very young and then I did pronounce it Dyer Maker.

Oh now that is NOT fair. There is no way in heck a Bostonian can pronounce "Jamaica" as Ja ma ca.

But as long as Jer-MAY-kerr is acceptable, then we're good. :D

That IS how it is pronounced. Remember: they had a British accent.

It is supposed to be a play on words between, yes, Jamaica, and

"Did ya make 'er?"

I have to agree with this, I use to be one and it took me years of living in NY before I could say that.

Aye, and we had a zip code in common :D :D
