NBA playing in Bubble vs MLB playing games at home

So why did baseball decide not to play there games in a bubble like the NBA? Any idea? Seems it would have made a lot more sense to just keep all mlb teams at there spring training locations in Florida or Arizona instead of playing at there home stadiums with no fans anyway and then having to travel for road games.. Then again we are having real bad outbreaks of Covid 19 in Arizona and Florida now as well so that may not have worked well either. Anyway thoughts?

Partially also the team owners thinking of the money/opportunities they'll lose. If you've got someone in the last year of their contract, and their isn't a season this year, is their contract up? Or do you just lose out on your last chance with your big star? Same if you signed multiple people to 1-2year contracts.

well, you don't get that close and personal in Baseball.
Basketball the game and the venues are really tight.

and I can't blame them pulling out of Arizona and Florida.
Staying down there was the original plan, but why risk it now.

But I also think having some sort of a season might help the rest of us.

My husband has been watching events from years past on youtube etc....
it's like a time machine, but you have the rude reality punch you in the face when you have to go out, dressed like a train robber!
