I don't really like the term "power generation" as I don't feel like this is something I'm making more like letting happen. I've been putting together a list of the various methods I've been exposed and where I learned it. Please, feel free to comment, by no means do I mean this to be a comprehensive list. Also, I've only got various pieces of each of these so far, so much work ahead.

Isolated strength

  • Tension

  • Strength training
Heaviness

  • Maximum tension, relaxation (Systema)

  • Stretching

  • Neigong
  • Shiko (not knee walking but the “sumo stomp”)

  • Squat exercises ala Baji/Aunkai
Centerline power - strike from centerline out, grab from out into center

  • Little Idea Form

  • Some Yiquan strength testing
Box - limits of hips and torso alignment

  • Little Idea Form

  • Shaolin
External Harmonies - Hip/shoulder, elbow/knee, hand/foot above each other on same side

  • Standing meditation

  • Yiquan strength testing
Elastic Power

  • Bouncing exercises

  • Circle walking

  • Plum flower posts

  • Shiko
Wave - Crashing (up/down front or back of torso)

  • Xingyi - Front of torso Chopping and Crushing/Back of torso Cannon and Drilling

  • Neigong
Crossing - Harmonies but now opposite sides

  • Silk reeling

  • Push hands
Shaking - Like a wet dog

  • Chen silk reeling (kua figure 8)
Side power - Opening and closing the rib cage/kua

  • Lion bagua

  • Shiko

  • Xingyi sparrowhawk
Unit power - Whole body’s mass arriving at once

  • Xingyi stepping

  • Circle Walking

  • Standing Meditation

To clarify I think I was using Yiquan strength testing as an example of single movement drills. I've learned a number of different drills throughout different styles. I've pretty much stopped all wing chun and Japanese stuff.

Power simply comes from muscle conditioning and learning to get multiple muscles to work together to generate explosive power.

I think the OP is talking about means of expressing it, not of creating it or cultivating it. The title is about delivery.
