Since purchasing my house last year I've been slowly putting work in to one of my basement rooms and am actually shocked about the progression of my little martial arts sanctuary.

Here's a simple steel pipe leg I made for leg chin na and sweeps. The pipe is threaded in loose enough where it pivots left or right when you use the foot to sweep it.

So I decided to use rubber mulch in two of the wall bags at the cost of 10 dollars for the bag of mulch. It provides a nice consistent feedback while punching.

This is the aquabag haymaker bag with one of the wall bags filled with black beans I plan on swapping locations with one of the rubber mulch filled wall bags.

just curious, why do you have 3 lines of the same wall bag? seems a bit redundant in my view.

Great looking workout room! Looks like you plan to spend a lot of time in there. Do you use the mats as you bed?:p
Lol when I first moved in a haste to the house prior to this place we did use the mats as a temporary bed [emoji1787]. In this case no not anymore.

The main reasons would be I have two different media filling the three bags. Also since I have wall mounted uppercut bag and the aquabag haymaker bag it only makes sense to mount affordable striking areas in the empty spots so it opens up more angle of striking simulating multiple opponents. For instance if you look at the Tittle uppercut bag and draw a female triangle (footwork) where there I can go to the left or right and still have extra surface area of the wall to strike since the Chinese wall bags are hanging in those locations. Final reason is I can teach my kids how to do the wall bag form more easily by demonstrating on one and have them follow on the other.

Very nice!
You have training partners that cone to use the space?
I like the mat and bag area separation
Your MA book collection is impressive
The leg pipe is neat
The tv is a cool addition, ive thought about doing that, you use it for MA videos?

Thanks about complimenting the book collection since I've been collecting since the mid 90s. The TV is for martial arts videos and also to allow my kids to play games on it.
I do have training partners come over to practice hence why I have the mats and multiple training tools such as Thai pads, kicking shield and focus mitts.

@ST1Doppelganger

That is awesome, and you have given me some ideas.

Are you still working at Baguazhang?
I pretty much play around with bagua but will never claim to be doing it since I don't have a current instructor making corrections on my stuff.

Current things I'm studying under direction of instructors is still my tenshin aikido under my sensei and I'm stoked to say I found an off the grid instructor in Non Classical Kung Fu which I've been doing monthly week end seminars with.

P.S. I'm glad I gave you some ideals it's why I posted on here so I can plant seeds on stuff. I wish I could upload a short video of the pipe leg use but I couldn't figure out how to easily upload the clip.
