I was a student of the late Walt Missingham here in Australia and although we ended up as a JKD school under Dan Inosanto, I much preferred things when it was a non classical kung Fu school and it was the the Walt Missingham martial arts academy. Walt was a great supporter and advocate for Chinese martial arts in Australia. I much preferred the Chinese approach to martial arts where the training is more easily integrated into daily life and in my experience, the techniques seem more natural and kinder to the body...Does anyone else have any thoughts on this?

In CMA, the end of your 1st move is the beginning of your 2nd move. You will get a smooth feeling. you won't get 1,2,3,4 and 1,2,3,4 feeling. Also, a slow "compress' followed with a fast "release" can feel nature and not rush.
