The DTU (German Taekwondo Untion), the German National Member Organization of the WTF, is setting up a special European Dan Promotion Test in Europe from November 22th to 24th 2013.
Since there's lots of Dan holders in Germany (and probably also other countries in Europe) who hold a high Dan of a national member organization or organizations lke the ITF, the Kukkiwon decided to hold a Special Dan Promotion Test in Europe.
So what's so special about this one?
You have to skip a minimum of 2 Dans. So this thest addresses people who may have only gotten their 1st Dan Kukkiwon and then went with national Dan certificates or those who never applied for a Kukkiwon Dan at all.
The detailed outline will follow.
So far the only info that's available says that the test will be held in Germany and will be conducted by masters of the Kukkiwon. There'll also be a training session held by Kukkiwon coaches prior to the test.
