I am keen to try some new kicking combinations for use with paddle type kick targets in my classes.
Any of you out there happy to share combinations that you use?
Thought it might make for an interesting thread.
These are best done with two paddle targets. All are with the same leg unless otherwise noted.
Great training kick (not so much for practical use):
• Front leg hook + roundhouse (both head high)
(*roundhouse + hook is much more practical, however)
• (either front or rear leg) Side (midsection) + hook (head)
• Outside crescent (i.e., from outside moving in, hitting with inner side of theheal) + spinning heal (both head high) (*this is combination with one kick from each leg)
• Twist (midsection) + roundhouse (head)
• Round (midsection) + round (head high)
• Back leg front (midsection) + roundhouse (head high)
• (front leg) side + twist (head high)
• back leg roundhouse + backside kick (using one kick from each leg — found in Chung Moo

)
That should be enough to keep them busy for a session or two
