Kenpo in the midwest

Hello,

I am a Filipino Martial Arts practioner and had the honor of training/working out/sharing ideas with an excellent Kenpo group in DesMoines Iowa during a short vacation while visiting family. The owner of the school's name is Bobby Barongan, another Filipino and friend of the family. I only mention that he is Filipino because I am not sure how much of the Kenpo stick/knife work he showed me was purely kenpo. In any case, if you have heard of or train with Mr Barongan, I'd love to here from you...or even if you have ideas about kenpo's stick and knife and the overlap with the FMA.

I also had the opportunity to meet Mr Boswell, a kenpo practioner from Nevada. I was very impressed with both of these gentlemen, there approach to Martial study and the similarities of Kenpo to Filipino Martial Arts.
