That may be in the club you went to but it's not actually correct for Wado.
10th kyu white
9th kyu red then yellow, orange, green, blue, purple, Brown (3rd-1st kyu) then Black.

Sorry, not really contributing to this… but so many dang belts. Back when I did jiujitsu there was white, green, brown, black, and back when I did TKD there was white, yellow, green, brown and black… but then I’m old and we’re talking early to late 70s

I've trained Wado for years, red is the next/first belt after white, a low belt indeed. 10th Kyu.
