This was the best version of the story I could find on the web about this wonderful rescue of a two year old Swedish boy by an American couple. I watched this on Larry King last night but had no sound (and no captions :miffer: ) while they were being interviewed so I couldn't get the gist of how they found him and saved him.
There was footage of the boy reunited with his father (in the hospital) and it was touching to see. The father was alternately crying and smiling at his son. Very moving. If anyone can find the story as told by Rebecca Bedall and Ron Rubin. I'd love to read it.
I think it does show that there is still goodness in the light of the tragedy and dispite the fighting going on over the food distribution. That small miracles like these can over shadow the dark and make us remember the light that resides in all of us.
