For 237 years, we've answered our country's call to battle. Everyone who has ever earned the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor is my brother or my sister, and that's a powerful feeling to belong to such an organization. In all the world, there is truly nothing like the US Marine Corps.

Marines pledge themselves completely to the Constitution of the United States. From the day they first raise their hand and throughout their honorable service, the oath every Marine takes is a promise and a reminder of their commitment to defend our nation and its interests.

Happy Birthday US Marine Corps

Sorry to get in late. Happy Birthday to a really great bunch of people!

I am late too but I did want to express my gratitude to the Marine Corps for your 237 years of faithful service to our nation. I was lucky to spend lunch with a retired Marine on the day and get to hear some of his stories.

Semper Fi!
