Technically I am 6th generation from my Shifu who was a student of Tung Ying Chieh

I have talked with Alex, nice guy, and was going to go meet him at one of his push hands seminars, he was interested in what I was doing, based on my lineage. But Covid hit and it was cancelled. Now his seminar prices have about tripled so I will not be going to one, but would happily sitdown and discuss taijiquan with him
Per my Shifu, Alex is trying very hard and working very hard. My shifu's opinion of his father is much lower. However he like what Tung Kai Ying does
Now additional to the name... Per Yang Family, at that time under Yang Zhenduo, stated that pople that learned from the Yang family, like Tung Ying Chieh, Chen Weiming, Fu Zhongwen, Li Yaxuan etc. Could teach Yang style. But there students could not. So as far as the Yang family is concerned, my Shifu knows Yang style, but what he taught me was not. My shifu simply feels they are 疯了 Fēngle (Crazy) he learned Yang stlye he teaches Yang style, I learned Yang style.
