Sir let me ask you a question: What do you believe is the true essence of Poomsae, Kata, forms and why.

In the book you mention near the end maybe doing a follow up. Are you any closer to doing that?

Well lifes little things (like having a baby.. not me personally) have slowed the pace down somewhat, plus a few other issues like not being able to get the hall time I need for all the photos, so it may be a while, but Ill get there. I have pages of notes and the rest is moving slowly slowly

In regards to TKD patterns, I simply believe they are a training aid and subscribe to Gen Choi's interpretation of patterns being a series of offensive and defensive movements.

Well for me it would be the SD principle that are involved thoughout each one.
