I've been trying blogging on and off, but late last year I made a resolution to stick with it. The articles I've written so far are simple, so if possible, hope you guys can check out a few of the martial arts posts and maybe leave some comments or opinions to help me improve my writing. Thank you.

Here's a few samples:

Relaxation
One of the difficult things for students, new and old, is relaxation. In our tense environment and fast paced life we tend to focus on doing things to get immediate gratification and results. However this is also detrimental to our health and martial practice.
A difficult thing for many people and martial artists to do is still themselves and quiet their hearts. It is the most difficult part of training, yet it is also necessary to reach higher levels of skill. For example, many people can box with their friends, but they can’t compete, let alone get into pro-boxing. Talking with many of these people, I’ve found that the thing they have in common is that they don’t want to take the time to practice to quiet their heart and focus.
