Anderson said evidence shows the two men broke into the residence in an attempted armed robbery. The homeowner wrestled a gun from one of the suspects, 23-year-old Bobby Lewis, and fired several rounds, wounding Lewis in the hand. EMSA medics asked police to search for the man's fingers, the corporal said.
"The suspect possibly lost one or two fingers," he said.
The homeowner then held the suspect at gunpoint until police arrived. The second suspect ran from the house and left in a car driven by a third man.

Sometimes bad things happen to good people. And sometimes good things happen to bad people. But once in a while bad things happen to bad people. Those are the moments I live for.

Thanks for posting Bill, it made my day. :ultracool

I'm waiting for the inevitable lawsuit. In my mind, I'm imagining a scenario like this in the civil court case:

"Now Mister Bad Guy, you're suing the man who shot your fingers off, isn't that correct?"

"Yes, that's right."

"And is the man who shot your fingers off in this court room?"

"Yes, he is."

"And would you point to him?"

"I can't, you bastard!"

Bwahahahahahaha!

We need to take up a collection for some lessons on a firing range for the homeowner. Fired several shots and only got a couple of fingers? Nah, that ain't acceptable.

Good job on the homeowners part. Now, every time the piece of trash that broke into the house, looks at his hand, he'll have a permanent reminder of what he did. Maybe he'll think twice next time...if there is a next time.

And while I did have a good chuckle at Bills court room break down...lol...whats sad, is that its possible the dirt bag will try to sue. Of course, I can't imagine anyone in their right mind, actually siding with that dirtbag, but stranger things have happened.
