The partner is in critical condition. If he dies, the shooter can be sentenced to death. If it weren't for the waste of taxpayer dollars, I'd call this a clean win.

Police say residents at a home in the 2200 block of North Delaware told them, two suspects kicked in the door, ordered everyone to raise their hands and then one suspect fired two shots.
One of those shots hit a nearby wall and the second shot hit the other suspect, 27-year-old Ronnie Bridges in the chest.

I'm trying to imagine the circumstances.

Robber 1: OK, so here's the plan. We bust in, wave our guns around, and rob them.
Robber 2: What if they don't cooperate?
Robber 1: Just shoot someone. That will get their attention.
Robber 2: OK!

[kicks in door]

Robber 1: OK, everybody hands up, this is a stick-up!
Victims: Oh dear!
Robber 2: Oh, not gonna cooperate eh?

[shoots partner]

Robber 1: Not ME you a-hole!

[dies]
