While not a practitioner of this shorinryu style I suspect most schools will not stress these moves. Matsumura Seito is a very traditional school following the classic Okinawan method of close-in, direct, low risk attacks. Hohan Soken, the founder, was a member of the Matsumura family and no doubt held closely to its traditions.

That said, it's very possible that some modern, sport influenced techniques have made their way into some of their dojo, such as the roundhouse kick (though IMO the close-range variety is a useful combat technique). Any school stressing the use of high or spinning kicks have departed from the Matsumura/Okinawan karate way.
