I've always noticed this, it doesn't bother me cause belts don't affect me I'm here for knowledge not rank. But I always get a chuckle out of this
Traditionally you're awarded sashes in Northern Shaolin correct? Well maybe it's where we're affiliated with the Okinawan Karatedo Union, but our Sensei awards us belts lol. Maybe I'm just weird but I get a chuckle outta that.
