One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried
piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do.
Finally he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway, it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey. He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They each grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement, he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer looked down the well, and was astonished at what he saw. As every shovel of dirt hit his back, the donkey did something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up. As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed, as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and trotted off. The Moral: Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up!

O.K., that's enough of that B.S. .... The donkey later came back, caught the farmer out in the field, and kicked the crap out of him. Then he went over to each of his neighbor's farms and kicked the crap out of them too for helping. The REAL Moral: When you try to cover your ***, it always comes back to get you.

How bout the story of the horse and the mouse. It is quite the lesson to be learned in a fable.

I'll take a chance.

So a mouse is caught in a pit and can't get out, so he starts calling for help. A horse nearby looks in and the mouse looks up and says "How 'bout a lil' help here?" The horse chuckles and says, "Alright, but what do I get out of it?" the mouse says, "Someday you might be in trouble and need my help." The horse again chuckles thinking there ain't much a mouse can do to help him, but none the less he decides to help. The horse stradles the pit and drops his ughhhhh. . . . member . . . . into the pit. The mouse crawls up it and says, "Thanks, anything you need, just say it." Later that day the horse isn't paying attention and he falls into the same pit. The mouse happens by and asks if he needs any help. The horse says he's stuck, but can't think of a way the mouse could help. The mouse looks around and sees the farmer's new Mercades. He sneeks into the house grabs the keys and a rope, and tows the horse out of the hole. The moral of the story is if you have a new Mercades you don't need to be hung like a horse.
