I've read some about Franck Ropers, & from what I understand, he comes from a kickboxing background & later studied Silat, Harimau I believe. You see alot of kickboxing tactics with some Silat thrown in. I think that he's a little liberal with his application of kicks & kick combos. JMO.

Yes I think that is a good opinion on how he does things.

I have his video and I must concur!

He does a few good Harimau technique but I thinks his style is about 70% Kickboxing & 30% Silat.
