Pet peeve of mine: people posting pictures/memes of things that are factually incorrect, then when that gets pointed out they acknowledge it, but don't care and keep up said incorrect post.

Sadly it came about after spending the amount that I did on my masters and my subsequent licenses.

What portion of tech are you planning to redelve yourself in?
I've been dabbling back into programming, but I'll never be a programmer (I can hack my way through code in a useful way, but that's about it), and brushing up on database stuff (SQL, Salesforce backend, etc.). Ideally, I'd like to get back into system analysis and testing. That's where I was most effective.

my brother-in-law graduated in IT things.
He'll be the first to tell you that original coding is 'sone in Asia' he grabs bits and pieces, changes what he needs to make it work for him

I want to make a general apology to everyone.
I realize I have been very chatty of late. The extra downtime I have while on the mend is in need of an outlet and I suppose I am filling it here.

No need for apologies! Always a pleasure to chat and listen, and this is a good place for that, always enjoy your posts, and we're happy to be that outlet :)

Nothing to apologize for. I personally want this place as busy as possible. Not cause I get anything out of it, but cause I enjoy reading the threads in my downtime. And you're still second, not first, on the most posts this month.

Thank, I had not even thought about the TPOTM. Maybe I am slacking. :):)

It's the coding slaves, somewhere in China, or so beaten if they don't produce a set number of codes for the day!
Just kidding. It's the running joke when my husband and I are talking about the cheap crap from China.

There is a possibility that my brother-in-law has no real clue where the codes he appropriates are written.
It's just not him, he considers himself a hack, and he generally has a high opinion of himself!
It's common useage to part codes out and adapt to your needs.

Survived Mardi Gras this year. Had a really good time...I had a really good team working for me and they did a great job.

Other good news, Jacob went to a specialist....his knee wasn't sprained just a bone contusion. He can play sports and train as long as he stops if it starts hurting. Should be fully healed in a couple weeks.

That is fantastic news. Glad to hear he will be back on track very soon.

Glad he’ll be able to get back at it. I hope he’s wiser than I was at his age....

I did not know until this year that Mobile, Al celebrates Mardi Gras a few week before Nawlins.
I don't keep up with stuff like that, but now and then it pops up that they have been doing it long before The Big Easy.
But yeah, nobody remembers Alabama for anything....and soon they will forget there are racetracks here....:D

I am not a Nascar fan at all but I cannot imagine Talladega ever being forgotten.
