What exactly is the difference between "modern" and "old-school" Taekwondo?

Many people talk about it, i mean around the world old people knows the old taekwondo, they noticed the now taekwondo do not looks like the old one, i belive the old rules were good but the new ones have more interest on fair combat, it does not promote the wonderful technique we knew before. I prefer the old one but i understand the new one. ¿ qué es el taekwondo?
