I am far from surprised that the security companies that employ these fellows are very pleased with their performance.

Nice to read too of an 'immigrant' group who, far from being here illegally and being a burden on the taxpayer, achieve employment rates of 95%!

Interesting article.

but it seems like
A) the politicians cry wolf - heck, with 95% employment rate, how can the community suffer?
B) it's about time they got their fair share (and dagnabbit, it sucks for those guys who are only getting 1/3 of the money the other fellows get. No wonder they are scrapping)
C) they are in aline of work were the firce reputation does not hurt! :D

I'd like it though if people saw them as human beings, rather than those' brave little chaps'. My shift partner is Gurkha and you've no idea how patronising some people can be.

oh, I have no doubt! (I can only imagine the crap the pair of you has to take, Shei-la and that little injian fella...)
and you can't even put them in a choke hold...
