Ok to me that was a bad example of TKD the guy had no hands and was sloppy with all his techniques but he was a bigger guy and to me that won the fight

Both fighters looked like crap. And is it me or is there a pretty sizable difference is size? I was starting to fall asleep waiting on the fight to start.

What a mess!

I really don't think you can do real karate or TKD with gloves on---muchimi is crucial to many of the techniques in these two closely related arts---the hand that punched or struck becomes a gripping hand for the next technique---so the conditions of the fight reduce the technical vocabulary of the two arts to just punching, kicking and clinching. You have a well-built normal-sized guy going up against a much larger guy, a lot of imprecise swinging, and... bingo... I really don't see either karate or TKD very much in evidence here...

It looked like if you were to take a couple of guys and throw them in a blender.
