But the thing that you fail to take into consdieration, is that the way things have been proceeding in this country... Thats the group thats becoming most in need of one: the dissapearing Middle class.

The disappearing middle class needs help, no doubt. Wage growth has been stagnant for 25 years. 2 things though: 1) the middle class is not exclusively or even mostly white males and 2) Rangel wanting to insure that minorities get some of the goodies is not the same as trying to destroy the white middle class.
