Ok, I've been playing around with some stuff...this is a small revamp on an earlier bit I did...keep in mind, its a 'quick and dirty' proof of concept thingy.

The saber blades are individually drawn in each frame requiring 4 passes per frame of animation. (royal PITA). I'm looking at software to streamline the procedure right now.

It needs the 'sparks' stuff added in too, but thats part of the software I'm evaluating.

Lemme know what ya think. Its only 11 seconds long, about 6MB MPG.

I was unable to play this in Mediaplayer or RealAudio. Does it use a specific codec that I have to download?

Not that I'm aware of...I'll double check.

Ok, I rerendered it and changed a few settings.

Its 1.93MB now. Standard MPG. (Should be)

I like it, since I was at work on a shared T-1 it was somewhat jerky, but with consistant sound. I will see what it is like when I get home, much faster connection.

That worked like a charm. Pretty cool stuff! The sound and video synch up quite nicely. Also, it's good to know I'm not the only one who has those sounds going through my head during stick drills. :)

Not bad. Those are the ones I followed doing mine. Lotta good stuff at that site. :)
