He is an amazing shot, although he'll also be the first to tell you that a lot of those nigh-impossible shots he shows on television shows do require several attempts. 
Still, to be able to shoot an aspirin tablet off the top of a nail head without hitting the nail, is nothing short of remarkable.

Bob Munden is not going to tell you anything about several attempts at this point, or anything else for that matter, since he's dead. Sadly, Bob Munden left us in 2012 at the age of 70. I must say though, he was an amazing man. His hand speed when drawing, shooting, and re-holstering the weapon was clocked to be faster than the strike of a rattlesnake. A single action six shooter in his hands was a full automatic. He could shoot two balloons so fast that it looked like they were both shot at the same time. And he took his great skills and abilities to the grave. Truly somebody I consider a role model.
